Paul was an incredible inspiration, advocate and ally for our clients and for our community. By sheer happenstance, I shared a flight with him years ago. The plane was small and the weather was harsh. I recall our conversation vividly as it was thrilling, and it kept this nervous flyer (me) occupied with grand thoughts about the history and future of the at will doctrine. Before I knew it, we had landed safely and I had to say goodbye to Paul. Today’s goodbye is much sadder – but Paul’s legacy lives on.
