Maintaining Ethical Grace In The Combat Of Litigation
Published by National Employment Lawyers Association

Summary
Members of NELA's Ethics & Sanctions Committee will explore myriad issues that arise in the combat of litigation. Should you file ethics complaints or sanction motions? How do you handle your adversary’s inappropriate conduct in a deposition, ad hominem attacks in pleadings, or letters to the court trashing you and your client? What should you do when opposing counsel threatens to file an ethics complaint against you or a motion to disqualify you as counsel? These and other hardball defense tactics will be explored in this not-to-be missed webinar.

Proceeds from this webinar will support NELA's Sanctions Assistance Fund for Emergency Relief (SAFER), a grant program that assists employee rights advocates in defraying the costs and expenses associated with defending against sanctions motions and awards that can cripple their practices. SAFER is not funded by NELA membership dues, and relies upon voluntary contributions for support. For more information about NELA's Ethics & Sanctions Committee and SAFER, please visit our website.
