Mediation From The Defense & Insurance Perspective, NELA 2018 Annual Convention
Published by National Employment Lawyers Association

Summary
Effective mediation is fast becoming, or is already, the lifeblood of many a successful practice. While we have had many workshops about mediation from the plaintiffs advocate’s perspective, it is extremely useful to understand the perspectives of counsel for defendant companies, and their insurance representatives. Good mediation preparation should involve thinking about the case from the other side’s point of view, so be prepared to listen carefully and hear something new.
