This panel will focus on the evolution of the summary judgment standard following the 7th Circuit’s decision in Ortiz v. Werner Enters., Inc. Our presenters will offer a survey of summary judgment decisions, in both district and appellate courts, following the 7th Circuit’s decision in Ortiz, and will discuss strategies and best practices for filing and responding to motions for summary judgment in employment cases.
