Seth R. Lesser is a partner in Klafter Olsen & Lesser LLP, with offices in New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. He represents employees, consumers, and commercial companies in a variety of cases, and has served as co-lead or sole lead counsel in multiple class, collective or consolidated actions, including MDL proceedings. In recent years, he has been a lead counsel in a number of wage and hour cases that resulted in tens of millions of dollars of settlements for employees. He is presently the Co-Chair of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, is on the Courts Committee of the Federal Bar Council (Second Circuit), was recently involved in the American Law Institute’s Principles of Aggregate Litigation project, is now involved as member of the ALI’s Consultative Group on Restatement of the Law Third (Torts), and has previously served in a variety of other local and national bar association positions. He regularly speaks and publishes legal matters, is a contributing author to a treatise of class action law, and has served as the representative of the American Council on Consumer Interests to the United Nations. He received his B.A. from Princeton University (1983), Ph.D. from Oxford University (1985) and J.D. from Harvard Law School (1988).
