Kenneth J. Laska is a principal in Segal & Laska LLC of Plainville, Connecticut. He is a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in mathematics in 1966. Thereafter he graduated from Suffolk University Law School in 1969. He is admitted to practice in the States of Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is also been admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut. He has been the public defender for the 17th Circuit Court in Connecticut as well as a special public defender for the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, the City Attorney for Bristol Connecticut as well a special counsel for the City of Bristol, and counsel to the Central Connecticut Regional Planning Agency. He is served on the Board of Governors of both the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. His practice is primarily plaintiffs’ litigation. During the six years he was the city attorney for Bristol he handled all of their labor matters relating to arbitration, mediation, and prohibited practice and also represented local police officers in their labor disputes.
