Rebecca L. Salawdeh has devoted her legal career to the representation of individuals in employment litigation. She has been a member of the Wisconsin Employment Lawyers Association (WELA) and NELA since 1996 and was a former WELA Co-Chair. She currently serves on NELA’s Executive Board and as Secretary. Ms. Salawdeh is Co-Chair of NELA’s National Origin Discrimination Committee, a member of NELA’s Membership Committee, and was on NELA’s task force on the ADA Restoration Act. Ms. Salawdeh serves on the Board of Directors and is the Secretary of The Employee Rights Advocacy Institute For Law & Policy, NELA’s related charitable and educational public interest organization. In 2000, Ms. Salawdeh, in conjunction with other WELA members, helped to form the Unemployment Compensation Appeals Clinic. Ms. Salawdeh serves as a volunteer attorney for Wisconsin’s ACLU and the Milwaukee Branch of the NAACP Legal Redress Committee. Rebecca received her Law Degree and her Masters Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1996.
