Nicole J. Williams is an associate at Katz, Marshall & Banks, LLP, a plaintiff’s employment, civil rights and consumer law firm in Washington, DC. Ms. Williams serves as Co-Chair of NELA’s Lawyers of Color Committee and is a member of NELA’s Membership Committee. Ms. Williams received a B.A. degree in English Language and Literature from Yale University in 2000. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Williams served as a Research Fellow at the Center for Law and Social Policy in Washington, DC. In 2004, she received her J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Williams served as the 2003-2004 President of the Boston University Black Law Students Association. She has a longstanding interest in diversity issues and cross-cultural social movements. Throughout her academic career, she participated in several international fellowships focused on such topics, including programs in Senegal, Israel, Hong Kong and The Netherlands. In addition to her involvement in NELA and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association, Ms. Williams is a member of the Greater Washington Area Chapter of the Women Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association.
