Ann M. Lugbill is Of Counsel to Murphy Anderson PLLC in Cincinnati, OH. She focuses on representation of False Claims Act qui tam whistleblowers and plaintiffs in class action litigation. Her past clients include over 40 qui tam relators, including Jack Gravitt, a pioneer whistleblower whose experiences are in the False Claims Act’s legislative history. Ms. Lugbill’s qui tam cases have resulted in total recoveries exceeding $600 million. An Ohio Employment Lawyers Association officer for many years, she chaired the Cincinnati Bar’s Grievance Committee, authorized by the Ohio Supreme Court to enforce lawyers’ professional ethics rules. Ms. Lugbill has co-authored two books: False Claims Act: Whistleblower Litigation and Representing the Terminated Employee in Ohio. She is an active board member of several nonprofit groups and charitable foundations. In 2007, Ms. Lugbill was honored by Talbert House, a large social service agency in Cincinnati, Ohio, with its "Ernest Talbert" community leadership award.
