Joyce Walker-Jones is a Senior Attorney Advisor in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) Policy Division in the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, DC. She is responsible for helping to draft Commission regulations, policy guidance, and technical assistance documents interpreting Title I of the ADA and Title II of GINA, including guides explaining to employers and veterans how the ADA applies to veterans with service-connected disabilities. She also has made hundreds of presentations on the ADA, and more recently on GINA, to a variety of audiences, including human resources professionals, EEO counselors, disability rights advocates, and plaintiff and defense counsel. Ms. Walker-Jones is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law and Lawrence University.
