Brian E. Koncius is a partner with Bogas, Koncius & Croson P.C. in Bingham Farms, MI. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and graduated cum laude from Duke University with an A.B. in Public Policy Studies and a Minor in Art History. Mr. Koncius helps his clients reach their goals, whether considering litigation, alternative dispute resolution, contract negotiations, or simply seeking advice in all areas of employment law. Mr. Koncius is a very active participant in bar associations and other legal organizations. He is a Council member of the State Bar of Michigan Labor & Employment Law Section. He is also a Fellow and Sustaining Member of the Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA), where he sits on the Membership Committee. Mr. Koncius is also an active participant in the American Inns of Court and a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA), where he was part of the founding group of the Developing and New Attorneys Section and currently sits as its Co-Chair. He is especially proud to have been a member of and current Co-Chair of NELA’s Convention Committee. Mr. Koncius has also been selected for inclusion in Michigan Super Lawyers - Rising Stars from 2009-present and was named as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” in 2010 by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. He has also spent considerable time over the last few years speaking on the topic of Social Media at conventions as well as to students who will be entering the workforce.
