1 Program with Elizabeth A. Rodgers Starting with "N"
Elizabeth Rodgers is a Partner in Rodgers, Powers & Schwartz, LLP of Boston. The firm specializes in employment representation for plaintiffs, including discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, wage and hour, and other civil rights matters. Rodgers, Powers & Schwartz, LLP, is an 8 attorney firm whose attorneys have proudly provided three presidents to the Massachusetts Chapter of NELA, including Rodgers. Her practice has included high level executives, physicians and medical device or airplane engineers, as well as night cleaners, women construction foreman and investment or sales employees. Recent cases range from a three year, 28,000 document whistleblower action involving 13 depositions, to a 90-day wonder, resolving a sexual harassment case against a prominent national figure—quietly, immediately after it occurred. She was trained as a mediator in 2002. Using mediation or zealous advocacy as the case may require, Rodgers’ handles sensitive and complex issues involving the intersection of employment law with Boards of Registration, Immigration, Boards of Public Health, HIPAA, FDA, and the Board of Bar Overseers. Before co-founding Rodgers, Powers & Schwartz, LLP in 2000 to specialize in employment law, Rodgers had 23 years of experience as principal counsel in personal injury, toxic tort, malpractice and employment litigation, with successful six figure outcomes in each area. Recently elected to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, she has also been selected as a Super Lawyer for five years by her peers. She was an adjunct faculty member at Northeastern School of Law from 1978-1986, having received her J.D. there in 1976. She has a Masters in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree (Economics) from Wellesley College.
