Patricia Kirtley of Kirtley Wells Law Office represents individuals in employment disputes and personal injury cases. She has been an adjunct professor at Phoenix Community College since 1999 and was an adjunct professor at Arizona State University (“ASU”) College of Law in 2003. Prior to opening Kirtley Wells, Trisha was a trial attorney with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) for five years and was in private practice with Snell & Wilmer Law Offices. Ms. Kirtley received her B.S. in Business Management from ASU in 1985 and her J.D. Order of the Barristers, from ASU in 1991. Ms. Kirtley worked as an intern for Justice Stanley Feldman, former Chief Justice of the Arizona Supreme Court. Ms. Kirtley has also served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Center for Disability Law and has been a speaker on employment discrimination and related issues for both private and public sector audiences. Ms. Kirtley was lead counsel in EEOC v. Wal-Mart Stores Inc., 94 CV-1076 (D. NM) in which the jury awarded 3.6 million in an Americans With Disabilities Act case. She is a member of the Million Dollars Advocate Forum, which recognizes trial attorneys who have achieved a verdict, award, or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more.
