Jeffrey L. Needle graduated from Boston University and American University Law School. He was on the law review staff and an editor of the law school law journal. Mr. Needle has been on the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA) from 1993 until 1997. Past Chairman of AAJ Civil Rights Section; past Chair of Washington State Trial Lawyers Association (WSTLA) Civil Rights from 1986 to 1992; past Chair of AAJ’s Employment Rights Section in 1999-2000; past Chair of AAJ’s Section Leaders’ Council. He has served on AAJ’s Legal Affairs; Public Education; Constitutional Litigation committees and is a member of the AAJ Amicus Committee from 2000-present. He is Chair of the Washington Employment Lawyers’ Association (WELA) amicus committee (1997-present); member of the WELA Board of Directors (1997-present); member of the NELA Amicus Advisory Council (present); member of the ACLU of Washington Legal Committee for the last 23 years; and Washington State Co-Coordinator for Public Justice, 2003-present.
