Kevin K. Russell is a partner in the law firm of Howe & Russell, P.C., and an instructor in the Supreme Court litigation clinics at Stanford and Harvard law schools. He has been counsel in numerous merits cases in the Supreme Court in the past five years, many involving employment discrimination, including Ledbetter v. Goodyear, Meacham v. Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, and AT&T v. Hulteen. He regularly represents clients seeking or opposing certiorari at the Court. Prior to entering private practice, Kevin was an attorney in the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to that, he clerked for Justice Stephen G. Breyer on the U.S. Supreme Court, and for Judge William A. Norris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
