Michael Anderson is a partner in the Boston office of Murphy Anderson PLLC. He graduated Harvard University magna cum laude in philosophy in 1984, and from Harvard Law School cum laude in 1987. He clerked for Judge Richard S. Arnold of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit from 1987 to 1989. Mr. Anderson specializes in appellate litigation, particularly First Amendment defense of worker speech. In his real life, Mr. Anderson delivers funny political monologues in theater venues in New England and elsewhere. His influences include George Orwell, Thomas Paine, and the first two Clash albums.
