Janet L. Heins is the Managing Partner of Heins Law Office LLC in Mequon, Wisconsin. The firm represents employees in cases of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and other actions against their employers, whether those actions are based on race, sex, religion, age, pregnancy, arrest and conviction record, or any other illegal basis under Wisconsin and federal laws. They also negotiate employment contracts and severance agreements on behalf of employees. The firm handles claims in state and federal court, and before state and federal administrative agencies. Ms. Heins is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Platteville, summa cum laude, and the University of Wisconsin Law School where she was a member of the Dean’s List and the International Law Journal.
