Samuel L. Salazar has been practicing law since 1982. His practice has focused on disability cases, with an emphasis on Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Law. His Workers’ Compensation practice includes many Uninsured Employers Benefit Trust Fund cases. He represents applicants and claimants exclusively. His undergraduate work was done at San Diego State University and he obtained his Juris Doctor at Peoples College of Law, Los Angeles. He is on the Board of Directors of the California Applicants Attorneys Association (CAAA) and is past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of CAAA, he is on the Board of Latino Comp and is a member of NOSSCR, Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) and the Mexican American Bar Assoc. (MABA). He first became involved with workers’ rights when he went to work for the United Farm Workers (UFW) headquarters during the height of the grape boycotts.
