Sharon Booker-Brown is the founding attorney of The Booker Law Group, LLC in Chicago, Illinois. She has twenty years of legal experience. Prior to starting her law firm and switching sides to represent employees, she was Senior Counsel for a Fortune 500 company where she handled numerous employment issues that included managing all of the company’s employment litigation in the United States. She has experience with a variety of employment matters that include: race, sex, disability and age discrimination; sex and race harassment; retaliation; wrongful termination; negotiating and drafting severance agreements, among others. Additionally, she handled regulatory issues, commercial and product liability litigation and other matters. Prior to working as an In-House attorney, she litigated insurance defense cases and she also worked with the City of Chicago as an Assistant Corporation Counsel. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. She is a member of NELA, NELA-IL, Chicago Bar Association, and serves as a Board member for alternative schools.
