Stephani Ayers is a graduate of Harvard University (B.S. 1997) and of The George Washington University School of Law (J.D. 2001). Since 2002, she has practiced exclusively in the area of whistleblower law, initially as a litigator for the whistleblower advocacy group Government Accountability Project (GAP). Since Jan. 2005, she has been a founding partner and trial litigator for T.M. Guyer and Ayers & Friends, PC, a private law practice in two-partner firm with an exclusive focus on employee whistleblower litigation in state and federal courts and agencies. She has extensive experience representing whistleblowers in jury trials in state and federal courts in Alaska, New Mexico, and Oregon, significant litigation in Washington state and federal courts, and lengthy hearings across the United States in the Department of Labor, Merit Systems Protection Board and Department of Energy Office of Hearings and Appeals in areas including nuclear safety, airport security, pipeline i ntegrity, pharmaceutical safety, and IT security. She also serves as co-counsel in international employment retaliation cases in the United Nations, World Bank, ILO, and the African Development Bank.
