Kathleen Cahill is committed to advocating for employees in all areas of employment rights. She has been litigating for 30 years and has successfully resolved many disputes through negotiation and mediation. Ms. Cahill also represents victims of sexual assault, medical malpractice, and other serious injuries. She began her career at Piper & Marbury (now DLA Piper), and founded her own firm 25 years ago. Ms. Cahill is a former Board Member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the former Chair of Maryland Employment Lawyers Association (MELA). She is a former board member of the Maryland Association of Justice (MAJ) and the Bar Association of Baltimore City, and served on the American Association of Justice (AAJ) Employment Rights Section. Ms. Cahill teaches trial advocacy at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Ms. Cahill has been selected as a Super-Lawyer, as Baltimore’s Best Employment Lawyer, and for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. In 2011, Ms. Cahill was awarded Best Lawyers in America’s 2011 Lawyer of the Year in the field of Employment Law for Individuals.
