P. Daniel Williams is a partner in the Jacksonville law firm of Magid & Williams, PA, which limits its practice solely to labor and employment law. He has practiced labor and employment law since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 1994, and is a Board Certified Labor and Employment Law specialist. He has lectured and written on employment law topics at continuing legal education seminars. Mr. Williams currently serves as President of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). In 2007, Mr. Williams served as the Vice President of Programming for Florida NELA. He has been actively involved in the Publications Subcommittee of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Williams is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Mr. Williams graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a B.S. degree in business management. He received his Juris Doctor degree with honors from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa in 1994, where he was a C. Edwin Moore Moot Court Competition finalist and recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for the study of Civil Procedure.
