David L. Lee has practiced and taught law for thirty years. He graduated from Northwestern University School of Law in 1977 magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and received his B.A. in History from Northwestern University in 1974. Since 1984, Mr. Lee has concentrated his practice on representing employees, and from 1984 to 1991 he was a full-time clinical professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law’s nationally recognized clinic on employment discrimination. Mr. Lee has been an active NELA member since the early 1990s, currently serves as Secretary of NELA, and is a co-chair of The Employee Rights Advocacy Institute For Law & Policy’s National Litigation Strategy Project Task Force. He was President of NELA/Illinois from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Lee has been named a “Leading Lawyer” and a “Super Lawyer” in the field of employment law. He speaks frequently to lawyers and human resources personnel on issues concerning employment law and has published extensively on employment law, civil procedure, legal writing, and other aspects of the practice of law.
